WHY
BEAD 2 BEAT CANCER?
I
began making beaded jewelry in 2001, after being diagnosed with
breast cancer. Beading provided a valuable therapy. Most important,
it led to new friendships, fun activities and fashionable accessories
for gifts and personal use. Following a recent diagnosis of stage
IV cancer, I am donating my bead inventory for this project so
others can share in this fun activity and to fight a disease,
that in 2007 alone, will rob over 2 million people of precious
time with family and friends. Please help.
